Online check-in is available via the KLM website or mobile app from 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure for most flights, and from 24 hours prior for flights to the United States. At the airport, passengers can utilise self-service kiosks or visit check-in counters, with baggage drop-off deadlines typically 40 minutes before European flights and 60 minutes before intercontinental departures.

CODESHARE AGREEMENT

KLM provides passengers with access to a network of airport lounges worldwide, offering a serene environment to relax, work, and enjoy various amenities before flights. The flagship Crown Lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol are designed with a blend of comfort and luxury, featuring diverse seating areas, shower facilities, and a fine-dining restaurant named 'Blue,' inspired by Soho House. Access to these lounges varies based on travel class, Flying Blue membership status, and, in some cases, may require a fee. Additionally, KLM collaborates with SkyTeam partners to provide lounge access at numerous international airports.

FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMME

KLM's frequent flyer programme, Flying Blue, is a joint loyalty initiative with Air France and Transavia, offering members opportunities to earn Miles and Experience Points (XP) through flights and various non-airline partners.
